This site prioritises verified and source-labelled election data. Official sources are preferred, and structured data is preferred over webpage parsing.

If official structured data is unavailable, the pipeline can use official CSV or official HTML parsing, followed by approved specialist trackers, and only then an emergency fallback snapshot.

Projected figures can change. Confidence labels are shown to avoid overstating certainty.

Pro-independence bloc calculations use public party positions. A pro-independence majority strengthens the democratic argument for another say on Scotland's future, but does not automatically create independence or force a referendum.
